The first priority of any elected official is the safety of the residents.
We can be compassionate but we can also use common sense. While my opponent seems to support open borders and protecting illegal aliens committing crimes as witnessed by her support of the Immigration Protection Act as well as holding a forum on the rights of people here illegally, I do not. I support the safety of our citizens.
We need to repeal Westchester's 2018 Immigration Protection Act that actually protects those here illegally and committing crimes. We are a sanctuary county by definition whether our executive wants to admit it or not. This act prevents law agencies from cooperating with each other - that’s sanctuary. I agree with John Fetterman's question when he asks, "What is so controversial about deporting people committing crimes?", and I agree. We have enough of our own crazies and do not need any more. I also support Bill Clinton's 1996 Immigration Act which allows for expedited removal of criminal illegal aliens without due process.
I want to be safe, I want my family to be safe and I want you and your families to be safe and if we can remove criminals from our country, I will support that.
